We threw a college grad party on a yacht in Newport Beach this summer and the details were *chefs kiss*.

The yacht DJ said this was the best-looking party he'd seen on there; I'll take it. 🤗

Gorgias wanted to host a more intimate event the day before the 200+ attendees one and it turned out *chef's kiss*.

Events held at mansions are becoming quite the thing right now and I am here for it. 🎉

We rented a home in the Hollywood Hills, they led high-level sessions, enjoyed a lunch in the sunshine complete with mimosas, and to top it all off, for dinner, we had a Michelin-star restaurant cater and a DJ playing perfect tunes.

When I started this company, 6 years ago today, I

When I started this company, 6 years ago today, I was at rock bottom. Many of you don’t know this but I had quit working for a company that I had thought I would be with forever planning their events, my 3-year-long relationship came to an end, and I was homeless staying at friend’s houses in LA until I could figure out my next move.

Little did I know at the time that those moments would be the catalyst to the best thing that’s happened in my life, Twenty Eight Events.

From a young age, I knew creating joy was what I wanted to do. Through something as simple as making my best friends laugh with my silly faces, to throwing my 16th birthday party and making it a spectacle of a party (😂 - I had my mom rent a limo and I wore a pink sparkly dress and a crown - goodness), to making the family Thanksgiving table “cute” and planning out the games we would all play, this all brought so much joy to not just me, but everyone around.

Luckily (literally, luckily) I dropped out of college with no plan but to move to Europe and landed a job in 2014 planning worldwide events. Seneca says “luck is when preparation meets opportunity” and although I hadn’t exactly prepped for a job in event planning, my entire life led me to this moment.

Since then, I’ve planned hundreds of events for thousands and thousands of people and since starting this company 6 years ago, I’ve never had to market the company at all. Everything has been word of mouth. It brings me to tears every time I say this. 😭

Not only do I get to create joy every single day but I get to also have the best and sweetest clients (who become friends) to work with who think that what I create for them deserves spreading the word about.

Your support, whether at the beginning or now, truly means the world. 🙏🏼

And to my team, the team that has risen and fallen countless times (growing the right team has been very hard for me), thank you to those who have been there, those who are here now, and those who will come.

I can’t WAIT to see where this next year takes this little company of mine.

Hopefully, we get to spread joy to more and more people around the world. It’s much needed right now. ❤️

In between our LA events, I flew to San Fran to be at @trytriplewhale World Tour. 🌎 (swipe right for a rare glimpse of me not behind the scenes 😂)

We've currently held the tour in:
Los Angeles
Toronto
San Fran

And up next we have New York and London. 🎉

The theme of this tour is a concert vibe and we've been lucky enough to find THE best venues for this.

Super excited for the rest of this tour. 🐳
